Our new house
The main event of the summer of 2007 was moving into our new home on Farley Mill. This is a ranch-style house that has a perfect layout for our needs - big rooms, wide doors, and an open floorplan. It also has well-established gardens and a pond with some way cool fish. And best of all, we have the benefit of being in a nice subdivisions with great neightbors, but our lot also backs up to the Chattahoochee National Park, so we have privacy and wonderful views.
The new kitchen
Before moving in, we did some remodeling. The largest project was a total redo of the kitchen. We also put new custom quartersawn oak floors throughout the house, painted most of the rooms, and changed a lot of lights and fixtures. Probably more pictures than you want to see of the process, but it was a big project for me!
