July 7: Calgary Stampede Rodeo In the morning, we took in more of the Midway attractions. In the afternoon, we had front-row club seats for the Calgary Stampede Rodeo action. We enjoyed the super-dog show, in which border collies compete to get three sheep in a pen in the fastest time. As you can see, the cute border collies enjoyed watching it too! The dog on the rail is Scoop, who is also the dog in the ring with the sheep. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

We got a kick out of the agricultural exhibits. Frank and I signed up to support Alberta Beef, beset by Mad Cow fears. Deb went for the horses. ![]() ![]() |

After lunch, we headed to the grandstand to watch the Rodeo. Opening ceremony included US and Canada flags. |
