John invited friends Jeremy and Josh over to celebrate his 12th birthday.  They played soccer in the yard, went out for a few rounds of putt-putt, and finished off with ribs at Dreamland, before coming home for a sleepover.  A few days later, on his actuall birthday, John opened presents from the family at home.
